Soundblaster Live 1024 Free Sound Card Query?

Sound card query? - soundblaster live 1024 free

I have a 1024 Creative Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 digital sound card three years ago. When I upgraded my computer for a few years, I have my old sound card on my new computer. Many new computers these days are on-chip audio. As compared with my sound card? In other words, if I bought a new computer with version 5.1 (or higher) on the integrated audio processor that I better not with the SMART Board, or my old sound card) (in terms of sound quality, taking into account the same player?

The onboard sound card before the expansion. Professor The sound card contains its own sound. Integrated sound, based on the central processing unit (CPU). With a sound card (so far) almost always sound better than the particleboard. And absolutely free for CPU usage for other processes. Improve the performance of the system through the use of expansion cards for sound and image.

5.1 onboard sound chips are very good, they just do not have software that provides you with the Creative

Currently, I work four sound cards on my PC and in harmony together. On-board I use a headset for chat (because of the low voltage, the cat is the sound card), the Sound Blaster Audigy I have a surround sound system 6.1 for production and labor, the other two, the DJ controller I use for mixing.

Thus, to the main problem is the view that something "on board", that is (on the motherboard, sound, graphics, etc.) will be slower than another type of sound card or a PCI card, AGP USB / Firewire devices (USB and Firewire, but the data) are not transmitted very quickly.

With a sound card on your motherboard if your computer for demanding applications at once sound, as well as other activities that require a plate (almost all), it runs the risk of degrading the quality of sound and divisions. This can not occur or may not be a problem when you play at home, but if you use your computer to DJ in a club, presumably empty at the end with a dance floor.

Add to my knowledge, the sound quality integrated sound card is not as good as the maps add, added, if the manufacturer does not. Keep the 1024, is a sound card. Maps of the CPU utilization on board a large part of their treatment, which may inhibit the action - do not have a modern PC probably noticed.

If the sound card has an internal memory (and most do) has an advantage over particle board, which generally has little real estate on the motherboard.

You are in an excellent position to try to see both what you think. You may need to disable it in BIOS to use the sound card.
